Diamond might not have won best female artist, but she’s on the right path. The “Hit That Hoe” singer stopped to chat it up with GlobalGrind at the 2011 BET Awards and she didn’t hold back one bit.
She’s been in the game for awhile now and the hard work is finally paying off.
Diamond revealed, “I’ve been working for so long that just for me to finally be recognize and be noticed. I’ve been doing for 8 years now, since I was in a group called Crime Mob. So right now I feel like I’m finally on the right track of where I need to go and sky’s the limit for me.”
Many people know she has a new man, but what they don’t know is how the two fell in love and interact. When it comes to Diamond’s new boyfriend Soulja Boy, she let GlobalGrind know he’s her rock. “He’s understanding and he’s a real good friend and he supports me.”
With her swag now turned on, Diamond knows sometimes you have to get out of character. If you’ve been bumping her song “Hit That Hoe,” you might want to know to be careful because we asked her the last time she’s hit hoe and she said, “Not that long ago, sometimes you have to get out of character.”
