Carey Mulligan is reportedly engaged to Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford.
The duo has been attached at the hip since they began dating in February of this year.
Carey is known for her Hollywood romances with the likes of Shia LaBeouf and British actor Eddie Redmayne, but Marcus is relatively new to the public dating scene.
Now that his folk band Mumford & Sons has achieved worldwide recognition, including an inspiring performance at this year’s Grammy Awards, Marcus must get used to the paparazzi following his every move.
Witnesses said Carey was already showing off her engagement ring in England over the weekend.
One told the Daily Mail, “Carey looked like the cat who had got the cream. She was wearing a beautiful ring and didn’t seem to mind who saw it. They were stuck to each other like glue. She was doing most of the talking and he was hanging on her every word.”
