Hollywood actress Kerry Washington struck a statuesque figure last night when she attended An Evening With Ralph Lauren hosted by Oprah Winfrey at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Kerry looked elegant in a shimmering and backless black Ralph Lauren Fall 2011 gown with a metallic ringed neckline. The youthful 34-year-old also wore a vintage Movado watch and further accessorized her look for the evening with a silver Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Charlie’ clutch. Her hair was worn in a slick bun.
Kerry will appear next in the comedy A Thousand Words, starring opposite Eddie Murphy. Eddie plays a blase guy who learns he has only a thousand words to speak before he dies and Kerry does female lead duties as his wife. A Thousand Words is slated for release in 2012.
