Last night, Cher‘s beloved son Chaz Bono hit the Dancing With The Stars stage and the proud mommy was not too happy about the critiques Chaz recieved.

Chaz and his partner Lacey Schwimmer performed a Phantom of the Opera-inspired tango as part of the show’s Broadway theme, but the judges were not impressed.
Panelist Bruno Tonioli described Chaz as “a cute little penguin trying to be a big menacing bird of prey.”

Well mama Cher was not happy! The 65-year-old diva took to Twitter to give the judges a piece of her mind in all “Kanye-Caps.”
It looks like Cher snapped into serious “mama bear protecting her cub” mode and furiously defended Chaz.
The lesbian transgender 42-year-old created a lot of outside controversy when he signed up for the new season of DWTS, with many concerned, homophobic and misinformed parents and activists protesting Chaz’s appearance on primetime TV.
But Chaz has consistently ignored the naysayers and is still going strong on the show, dancing his way into the sixth week of performances.
