We’re not sure what’s happening in the world of iPhone jailbreaking since we’ve long switched to Android. We are, however, still curious about the iPhone. 

A few days after the iPhone 4S was released someone was able to exploit a bug in iOS 5, the new operating system of the iPhones, iPads and iPods. The jailbreak was described as a tethered only exploit, meaning that you’d have to plug in your device every time you connected to your computer. 

There’s a new jailbreak out for the latest iOS5 update, but in order to use it you’ll have to use RedSn0w. According to Gizmodo, the jailbreak will not work the iPhone 4S or iPad 2.
