Daniel Radcliffe, star of the very successful Harry Potter films, has taken on a new project, but this time he won’t be waving his wand for magic.
Instead he has teamed up with the Trevor Project to speak to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community in a PSA for the non-profit organization.
In the 30 second spot PSA; Radcliffe said, “I believe that reaching out for help is the bravest thing a person can do.”
The Trevor Project offers support to minority youth of the LGBT community looking for someone to talk to about their sexuality. Also, they help provide safe environments in the homes and schools of LGBT people.
Radcliffe has been a supporter of the organization since 2009. He has come forward as a straight ally to help youth be comfortable with speaking about their sexuality with non-judgmental people.
