Angela Corey is the tough-as-nails Florida State Attorney who decided earlier today not to use a grand jury in the Trayvon Martin shooting death investigation.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, the Florida State University alum went on to the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree. She is well known in criminal justice circles around the sunshine state.
Corey’s reputation as being tough on crimes is evident by her record, she is known as the woman who puts murderers behind bars.
During her 26 years as a prosecutor, she tried several hundred cases, which included 54 homicides. In 1996, her primary responsibility became homicide prosecutions.
With Corey anchoring the ship of justice for Trayvon, it’s safe to say that George Zimmerman will be arrested sooner rather than later.
