Everyone’s favorite “weed and brew” anthem, Schoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky’s “Hands on the Wheel,” just got the ill fist-pumping techno remix.

And that remix comes from Baltimore-based producer and DJ, Aaron LaCrate

“Hands on the Wheel” was always an upbeat song, but this remix takes that vigorous energy to the max.

LaCrate keeps the original vocal sample (which sampled Lissie’s “Pursuit of Happiness”) and takes out the sinister twist that the Schoolboy Q version had and replaces it with a bouncy, synth-heavy, club-ready background.

You can see people from Jersey Shore rocking out to this.

Apparently, Aaron is very smitten with Schoolboy. He told Rolling Stone:

“The first time I heard Schoolboy Q’s Habits & Contradictions mixtape, I was floored… When Q was in NYC for his S.O.B’s show, which he tore down, we met up and I asked him if I could remix ‘Hands on the Wheel,’ which is already such a great record. So I was psyched to be able to flip an up-tempo, club-smashing Aaron LaCrate version.”

It’s definitely an interesting listen. Check it out!
