NEW MUSIC: Lupe Fiasco “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)

Lupe Fiasco released a Pete Rock “They Reminisce Over You” sampled track entitled “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)” off his forthcoming album … and Pete Rock hates it!

Pete Rock’s “T.R.O.Y.” record dropped in 1992 and was inspired by Pete’s fallen friend who died tragically. “T.R.O.Y.” is easily one of the best hip-hop records of all time.

There’s hasn’t been a response to Pete Rock from Lupe, but we’re figuring he’ll have a good reason as to why Pete Rock’s track inspired his new song.

Do you think Pete Rock has the right to be upset with Lupe?
