UPDATE: 12:15PM EST (Saturday)

CNN is reporting that Sandusky is under suicide watch. An attorney for Jerry Sandusky explains:

“The judge in this case and the warden in this case decided to take a measure not meant to suggest in any way that he is suicidal, but simply to put the precautions in place first and then evaluate later.”

Sandusky is being held in a private cell – away from other inmates.

Jerry Sandusky has been found guilty on 45 of 48 counts in his child molestation trial.

The former Penn State coach could face up to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of child abuse. Sandusky is charged of abusing 10 boys over 15 years, some of crimes took place on the Penn State campus.

DETAILS: Oh No! Jerry Sandusky Accused Of Molesting His Own Son!

MSNBC reports:

Several of the counts are so-called mandated felonies, meaning McKean County (Pa.) Senior Judge John Cleland would have no discretion in sentencing. Most carry sentences of 10 to 20 years in prison, meaning that even if he is convicted on only a handful of those counts, Sandusky could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Sandusky will remain in a county jail until he is sentenced within the next 3 months. The Penn stage coach is officially a child molester.

A crowd of people who gathered outside of the courtroom erupted in cheer once they got news of the guilty verdict.

While sentencing has yet to handed down it is believed that Sandusky will not see another day of freedom in his life time, considering that he is 68 years old.
