Last night some of the biggest names in the music business was honored at the 25 anniversary of the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Quincy Jones was the guest of honor and he got an amazing standing ovation, to go along with a champagne toast from all of his peers.

Pharrell Williams was also on hand to receive the Golden Note Award. The Neptunes rapper and producer was all smiles and in a pleasant upbeat mood throughout the night.

Also on hand was Meek Mill who tore the house down with his version of House Party, his hit single off his mixtape Dream Chasers Vol. 1.

Numerous awards were giving out that night to the people behind the music, but one person in particular who was on hand to collect some hardware was Brooklyn’s own, Fabolous, who picked up a writers award for You Be Killin’ Em.

The funniest moment of the night came when Drake’s producer and best friend had to stand on stage for what seemed like an eternity as he received 7 awards from his work on Drake’s Take Care album. Last night was a spectacular display of recognition from the music elites.
