On the 16-track tape, emcees Zombie Juice, Meechy Darko and their in-house producer Erick Arc Elliot, have created a chilled-out soundtrack celebrating their two loves: bad women and bud.

D.R.U.G.S. includes “Thug Waffle,” a weed smoking anthem that’s quirky visuals went viral on YouTube and began to put these unsigned rappers on the map on countless music blogs and hip-hop publications.

Some standouts on the tape include “Mary, Nothing Above,” concerning their love and soul mate, Mary Jane, and “Breakfast at ePiffanies,” one of the fourteen tracks composed by Erick Arc Elliot.

Elliot’s ethereal production style is a stark yet fitting canvas for Juice and Darko to apply their grimy animated rhymes and deliveries.

D.R.U.G.S. has been a long time coming. When the tape dropped, the group expressed:

“We made this over the past two years in a tiny ass bedroom studio in Flatbush, no labels no overlords telling us what sound to create. ANARCHY rules. NONE OF THIS WAS MADE FOR THE LOVE OF $$$ just for the love of LOVE itself. So shut the f*ck up and take these D.R.U.G.S.”
