It has been told bye sources that running back Reggie Bush, of the New Orleans Saints football team, is expected to be stripped of college football’s top honor: The Heisman Trophy.

If Reggie Bush’s trophy is taken away he will the first player in the 75-year history of the award to have it taken away. Back in June the NCAA ruled while Reggie Bush was playing for the University of Southern California he committed multiple violations by accepting cash, gifts and other impermissible benefits while playing for the Trojans.

Reggie is not the only one facing sanction for this incident, USC has been stripped of their last two wins from the 2004 season, all their wins from the 2005 season, including the 2005 Orange Bowl, have been banned from bowl games in 2010 and 2011 and will lose 30 scholarships over three years.

The NCAA and the Heisman Trust have been both investigating this situation.
