For lovers of the Thom Browne collection of clothes, it’s often difficult to keep up with the brand because of the unusually high price-point. Some have gone as far as to say that every man should own a Thom Brown suit, and with the release of his lower pricepoint collection Thom Grey, every man just may be able to.

Although a suit will still set you back about $1200 after tax, it’s still much better than the $3,000 on average for your run-of-the-mill Thom Brown suit.
For now, Thom Grey is available at Barney’s, with wider worldwide distribution expected very soon. However if you would like to purchase any of the collection now, there are already staples like button down shirts, ties, suit jackets and pants.

Thom Grey manages to carry out the same aesthetic of cropped items and “shorty” fit that Thom Brown is known for, as well as his signature use of the color grey. For the new collection however, the signature cuff ribbon will no longer be red, white and blue; instead Tom Grey utilized three different shades of grey (no giggling ladies).
