The days for Max B may be looking bleak, after a recent court ruling upheld his conspiracy murder conviction, but Max B is riding the appeal wave until he can’t ride it no more.
The Harlem rapper called into Statik Selektah’s radio show to talk about his conviction and his petition “Pardon The Wave,” which asks for a fair appeal hearing.
Max B also talked about Jay-Z shouting him out on Rick Ross’ “3 Kings” track, where Jay rapped:
“Oh, stuntin’ to the Maxx, I’m so wavy.”
Harlem rapper Max B was convicted and sentenced to jail for 75 years on conspiracy to commit murder and robbery charges that transpired in 2006.
Although Max B wasn’t present during the time the crime was committed, the botched robbery landed Max in front of a judge pleading his case in 2009, when the District Attorney’s office accused him of sending his girlfriend and stepbrother to rob two men at a Fort Lee Holiday Inn.
Max B’s friends and family are also putting together a listening party for the jailed rapper at a secret location on October 26 in Harlem.
