This past week, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj made headlines everywhere after a video of their verbal on-camera fight during American Idol filming hit the ‘net.
After the fight, Barbara Walters came out to say that she spoke with Mariah, who claimed Nicki threatened to shoot her, and that she even feared for her children.

Mimi also told Barbara that she was going to increase her security, and it looks like she’s followed through, since she was spotted out yesterday with an entourage.
The 42-year-old singer headed to an AI photo shoot with an armed police officer and two bodyguards, one of them holding an umbrella over her head.
According to TMZ, despite the war of words between Nicki and Mariah, the two had a successful photo shoot.
The site reports:
Sources tell us … Mariah and Nicki both participated in the shoot — and even posed for pics TOGETHER. We’re told the shoot was peaceful, but it’s clear the hatchet is not buried.
Tomorrow, the gang has another round of auditions … and that’s when tensions really start to heat up.

While Mariah is doing more to protect herself, Cee-Lo Green thinks that their fight is all for show.
The Voice judge thinks that since they’re in L.A. and in the industry, the fight between them was most likely for entertainment purposes only.
He recently told TMZ:
“This is Hollywood, California. Hardly anything’s legit.”
Hopefully these two can get past their issues so they can have more success with their judging journey.
