Recycling may not always be the easiest thing to do.

Depending on your lifestyle, going green may not always be an option, but thankfully, Levi’s is making it easier for everyone.

With their new Levi’s Waste < Less Denim Collection, you can go green and all you have to do is put on a pair of jeans!

The denim products in the Levi’s Waste < Less collection are constructed from ET plastic and polyethylene terephthalate materials – mostly consisting of brown beer bottles, green soda bottles, clear water bottles, and food trays collected from across the nation.

First, the bottles and trays are separated by color, and then crushed into flakes to be processed into a polyester fiber.

That fiber is then blended with cotton fiber, turning them into a cotton yarn for manufacturing this denim collection that consists of jeans, jackets and shirts.

You can take a look at the full Levi’s Waste < Less collection in the gallery above. Look out for them to be hitting the shelves of your local Levi’s retailer in Spring 2013.
