Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel broke down the scenario of events that led up to the former Army general’s resignation as the director of the CIA late last week.
Petraeus’ outstanding reputation in the military and leadership efforts in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq came crashing down when it was revealed that he was having an extramarital affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell. However, the scandal doesn’t stop there; it appears that he may have also had an inappropriate relationship with another woman named Jill Kelley, who is also under investigation for lewd behavior with General Allen.
Luckily, Kimmel’s diagram puts everything into perspective. Plus, he closes off with a very valuable lesson that we can all learn from the Petraeus scandal:
“Never email, never have sex, never meet with a biographer and just to be safe, lose the penis.”
