On Valentine’s Day, Jack White is planning to release a brand new single, but there’s just one catch.
Jack’s new three-song single is going to be printed on old X-ray films.
Yes, actual medical X-ray films.
Jack White will be teaming up with Butthole Surfers’ Gibby Haynes to release what they call the “The Gibby Haynes Blues Series.”
The series will be printed out on 7-inch discs, which Jack refers to as “flex-rays.”

Limited copies of the X-ray records will be sold exclusively at Third Man Records’ Rolling Record Store at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.
The Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter is up for three awards at this year’s Grammy ceremony, which airs this Sunday, February 10.
