Looks like George Zimmerman is trying to stay as low-key as possible.
A year after he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, the former neighborhood watch captain is reportedly still scared to show his face in public. According to his lawyers, Zimmerman wears a disguise or body armor in public because he feels threatened.
Zimmerman remains in hiding and ‘can’t go out in public without wearing a disguise or body armor,’ defense attorney Mark O’Mara told CNN.
O’Mara also added that his client is very stressed and worried about the trial. As a result, Zimmerman has gained over 100 pounds since being charged with second-degree murder.
The trial is still set for June 10, 2013.
