Danish menswear label Soulland has become the first brand to license original Babar the Elephant children’s book artwork by Jean de Brunhoff for their 2013 collection. Some of you may remember that Babar was a pretty snazzy dresser, often seen in a bowtie or dinner jacket, he is probably the most well dressed of all children’s cartoon characters.

The Soulland collection offers button-down oxford shirts, t-shirts, a sweatshirt and shorts – some of which use an all-over print of the original Babar artwork.
The collection will launch in Colette April 2013 and land at Opening Ceremony (New York, Los Angeles), Goodhood (London), Hunting & Collecting (Brussels), SOTO (Berlin), Voo (Berlin) mid-April.
