Sex sells… I get it.  But I think it is a little overdone.  I mean since the beginning of time, as the story is told, sex sold.  It is everywhere. Both men and women are taking advantage of this convenience.  People are building, launching and ending careers using sex. Whatever happened to being talented and having abilities??

I think that it is a societal fail that people are given the impression that these behaviors are acceptable.  There are scores of people, women especially, that set their goals and aspirations behind a sex situation.

As I speak, there is a woman (who shall remain nameless) that is basing her whole future on her crotch and the stories it has to tell.  The people she’s slept with and the situations she’s gotten herself into are all sources of entertainment for people.  It is really sad.  But what’s even sadder is that there is a gaggle of people waiting to hear her story.  I am sure there are people willing to give her a book deal and a reality show to tell her story.  Why? Sex sells, that’s why.

Whenever women need attention or some kind of foot in the door, sex comes into play.  Their laptops get stolen and naked pictures emerge.  It is sooo tired ladies.  Really, it is.  Step your game up and develop your talent.  If you really have a gift then you will get to where you need to be.  Simple.  Pictures and sex tapes surface, women get famous off of that.

They are talentless and non-singing but because we have seen their action in the bedroom or what they have under their clothes, now they have talent? Tahiry must have something in the works because a picture of her naked camel toe surfaced recently.  I mean, why else would those be in circulation?

And then there are the men that gravitate and use women to further advance their career.  I mean that has to be the reason.  They set themselves up and get involved with certain types of women, knowing that they are going to be exposed.

Sex tapes and sex stories always seem to come to light when someone has a new album dropping or a single in the works.  It is used as a marketing tool.  There are some men in the music industry that think that women are the key to their success.  What happened to your talent?  At the end of the day, sexcapade marketing tools don’t change the fact that an artist sucks!  Didn’t anybody get that memo?

Desperate times call for desperate measures it seems.  Dropping sex tapes, telling sex tales and selling oneself sexually for a career are all signs of desperation.  There are young women growing up and these are the media examples that they are seeing and it is a shame.  There are young ladies who are watching and banking their future on becoming a groupie for some rapper or athlete because some skank made it look cool.  And as a society we embraced it, which makes them think it’s all good.  Come on folks.  We have to do better.
