In 2004, the first Rock the Bells went down in San Bernardino, California. The festival featured the Wu-Tang Clan’s first performance after reuniting. Band member Ol Dirty Bastard would die months later of a drug overdose.

Now, it’s 2013 and a reunited Wu-Tang Clan will again be closing the show — along with ODB (we’ll explain.)

The official lineup for the 2013 Rock the Bells was announced, and good God, it’s stacked.

Along with The Wu, appearing at the festival: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the Black Hippy crew, Too $hort, E-40, Juicy J, Kid Cudi, Common, Danny Brown, Curren$y, Hit-Boy, Big K.R.I.T. and more.

Now, back to Ol’ Dirty Bastard: According to AllHipHop, Ol’ Dirty Bastard will appear as a hologram (a la Tupac during Dr. Dre’s set at Coachella in 2012). Not only will ODB appear as a hologram, but Eazy-E will also make an appearance as a hologram during Bone Thugs’ set.

OK, this is cool.

Rock the Bells will be hitting your city this fall. The dates and the full lineup are below:
