Hot off the presses, y’all!

The Weinstein Company, AOL Moviefone and Huffington Post have teamed up to debut the first posters for The Butler.

The film is a historical drama, inspired by a true story, which focuses on an African-American man who served as a butler in the White House for 30 years. It allows viewers to see major events which changed our nation, such as the Civil Rights Movement and the Vietnam War, and the toll they took on the man and his family from a vantage point never before explored.

As if the plot wasn’t dope enough, Lee Daniels, the film’s director, knocks it out of the park with an all star cast. The line-up includes Robin Williams, James Marsden, Minka Kelly, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Forest Whitaker to name a few.

Inspiration for the film came from an article published in the Washington Post, which chronicled the life of the long-time butler.

The Butler hits theaters this October and trust us, this is one film you don’t want to miss!
