Last time we paid attention to a cover by Ed Sheeran, he was mashing up Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” and Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop.”

Now Ed is back and he’s doing something a little older, this time for a good cause.

Bono, the frontman for U2, has a campaign group called ONE. The main objective of the group is fighting poverty and hunger in various places around the world; trying to raise awareness for their cause by releasing an album of protest songs.

The album is called agit8 and one of the first releases off the LP comes from Ed Sheeran, and it’s called “Masters of Wars.” The song is a cover of Bob Dylan’s anti-Cold War song of the same name.

This agit8 project also has songs from Bruce Springsteen, The Specials, Elvis Costello and more.

For more info, hit up ONE’s official site.
