Around this time last year, Nelly was set to release M.O., his seventh solo album. The rapper had even released a single that was pretty dope, the Chris Brown-assisted “Marry Go Round.”
Well that album never dropped. That doesn’t mean, however, he’s folding yet. The rapper is still planning on releasing M.O and he’s trying with a new single.
The song is called “Get Like Me” and it features Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. If you couldn’t tell by the lineup, the song is a party anthem and it features that classic Neptunes sound. It’s a sound that gave Nelly some of his biggest hits, like “Hot in Herre” and “Flap Your Wings.”
Can Pharrell help Nelly make magic again? We dunno. This song is pretty dope though. Give it a listen.
