The always exciting Janelle Monae rocked the house last night with a performance of her single, ‘Cold War,’ on The Last Call with Carson Daly. The talented singer, songwriter, dancer and performer, always has a major stage presence, and tonight was no different.
A Kansas City native, she has worked with the likes of Big Boi, Diddy, and even opened up for No Doubt in the summer of 2009.
Her first full official album, The ArchAndroid (Suites II and III), was released earlier this year, debuting at number 17 on the US Billboard 200. and selling 21,000 copies in its first week. Despite having moderate success, the album received general acclaim from many music critics.
