Easy come, easy go. Just last week, Radiohead guitarest Edward O’Brien announced that the group had just finished their new album.

Today, it looks as though that album may never come out. It was only ten days ago when bassist Colin Greenwood had revealed that they had ‘finished another group of songs,’ and were in discussion on the best way to ‘release them in a digital landscape that has changed again.’

According to Radiohead drummer, Phil Selway, meetings next week will determine whether or not this group of songs will make the new album, and whether or not there will be a new album altogether.

”We’ve been working on material on and off for a year now. So yes, we’re basically taking stock on Monday and seeing what we need to do with the material to move it to those final stages. We’re just returning to it with fresh ears and taking stock of where we are and how close we are to finishing stuff, really, and we won’t know til Monday.’

‘We might just throw this all out. It’s all up in the air.’

It has been over three years since Radiohead last came out with an album, and fans are eagerly awaiting a new release. Let’s just hope they don’t leave us High and Dry or we might have to call the Karma Police!
