Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy continues to keep his company in the news, telling a local Georgia news outlet that he supports “Biblical families.”

Just as the fast food company’s backlash was beginning to die down from controversial statements he made earlier this summer regarding gay marriage, Cathy reignited the firestorm.
Cathy told 11Alive’s News:
“Families are very important to our country…And they’re very important to those of us who are concerned about being able to hang on to our heritage. We support Biblical families, and they’ve always been a part of that.”
Recently, Chick-fil-A backtracked, releasing a statement on its same-sex marriage stand saying the company’s corporate giving has been “mischaracterized.”
Either way, comments like that won’t fair well with progressives. As Cathy puts it, belief that marriage is Biblical and between a man and women does not support gay marriage.
Chick-fil-A has become one of the most talked about fast-food franchises in 2012. Cathy’s just adding fuel to the fire with these latest comments.
