Reggie Bush is officially a daddy to his brand new baby girl.
The Detroit Lions running back and fiance Lilit Avagyan welcomed their first child on Monday, May 6. Their little bundle of joy weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces.
The 28-year-old running back and 25-year-old Lilit have been together for about a year and a half; Bush announced they were expecting in October 2012 in an appearance on Florida’s Paul and Young Ron Morning Show. “I have a little one on the way,” he told the world. “We’re pretty excited!”

Reggie Bush is known his relationship with Kim Kardashian, which played out infront of the cameras of her reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The couple dated on-and-off for several years before ending it for good in 2010.
What a strange coincidence that Reggie and Kim would be expecting children just months apart!
In early April, a blog post on Bush’s team site, Reggie shared his feelings on becoming a parent for the first time:
“I’m very excited. Very excited about the baby. It’s our first one and couldn’t have come at a better time,” he wrote “It could have come with a better person. Someone I really love and care about. It’s great. It really worked out perfect.”
How cute is that? Hold on to that one, Lilit!
Reggie also discussed his plans to travel back and forth between L.A. and Michigan, where he works:
“The baby will be in L.A. Well, Avagyan is going to be in L.A. because her family lives 15-20 minutes away from us,” he said. “So she’s going to need that support system while I’m here for a few days out of each week. Then I’ll be home..I’m going to rack up a lot of sky miles, I know that.”
