Looks like the Kardashians have found themselves in hot water once again. Ellen Pearson, the Kardashian klan’s former stepmom, is firing back at the family with her own lawsuit.

The family’s lawsuit against Pearson played out as a storyline on their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s. They claimed Robert Kardashian Sr.’s widow was selling his diaries and personal photos to tabloids.

The information released by Pearson painted momager Kris Jenner in a bad light, claiming she abused her children and that Khloe Kardashian was not Robert’s real daughter.

Being such a tight knit family, the Kardashians took to Twitter to blast the allegations and defend their mother.

The lawsuit filed accused her of carrying out a “despicable and unlawful scheme to hold in secret and convert, and now exploit…private personal and copyright protected” information. The family requested “at least” $500,000 in damages.

The Kardashians even went as far as to hire a private investigator to uncover the “unlawful or illicit behavior” Pearsons was allegedly engaging in. Pearsons now believes she was set up and the Kardashian family used the storyline for ratings on their show.

At least, that’s what Ellen’s countersuit claims. Private investigator Jake Schmidt sent Ellen a series of mysterious text messages trying to offer her damaging information about Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner. The suit claims that the texts are “purposefully ambiguous” but imply the information is for sale.

In early March, Jake tried again to entice Ellen, this time “forcefully” attempting to convince her to meet up about the information he claimed to have for her, the lawsuit alleges; it also claims Jake was harassing her and she attempted to end their phone contact.

“Empty handed from his unsuccessful attempt to entrap Ellen, Jake apparently went back to the Kardashians and they were forced to air what little information he was able to gather,” the suit says.

Not to worry, the K-Dash krew have an A-list legal team.

“Ellen Pearson’s claims are absure, and her attorneys have been notified that the Kardashians intend to seek recovery of attorneys’ fees agains them and their client for pursuing such frivolous and malicious claims,” Marty Singer, Hollywood Lawyer representing the family, said.
