When one of the best-dressed ballers in the NBA ties the knot, we would be foolish to assume he’d opt for a classic black tux, right? So naturally Amar’e Stoudemire had to style things up for his holy matrimony.
Amar’e and Alexis officially wed back in December, but kicked off a formal ceremony at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami earlier this month. Sure, we’ve seen a few Instagram peeks here and there, but of course we want to know all the details of who wore what!
Rachel Johnson, who has been styling the New York Knick and other stylish ball players like LeBron James, always keeps Amar’e draped in the best of the best, but she outdid herself when it came to the big day.
The stylist held out for quite some time when it came to showing off the detailing of her work for the wedding, but alas, we got a full look at what Amar’e wore to wed his love.
From the front, the black lapelled blazer seems innocent, but Amar’e was serving serious back with embellished details, and this was just one of 3 looks for the night.
Amar’e also donned an all red suit and later changed into a more casual black ensemble for the remainder of the night.
