Kanye West is making sure he won’t end up a new slave in jail following a scuffle with a photographer in July that could land him one year behind bars.
The rapper insists he’s not guilty of battering the photographer outside of LAX.
According to TMZ:
Kanye’s lawyer Blair Berk entered the not guilty plea on the rapper’s behalf this morning in court. Attorney Gloria Allred was present representing the photographer Daniel Ramos.
If you recall, Kanye was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft after allegedly attacking the photographer and grabbing his camera.
In addition to the charges, the photographer has also sued ‘Ye in civil court for assault and battery.
Looks like Yeezus might have to call on the real Jesus to get out of this mess.
