At the end of the summer, Wu-Tang Clan member U-God announced they would be featured on Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever (Remix).” It’s been two months since then and fans still don’t have the official remix for Drake’s Nothing Was The Same banger.
U-God, Masta Killah, and Cappadonna stopped by MTV’s RapFix Live and filled Sway in on the status of the remix.
“The majority of everybody [recorded their verses], probably minus three… Meth did lay a joint, but then he didn’t want to do that one, so he took that off. But everybody else did it. I don’t know if it’s gonna be accepted by our peers our whatever, but it sound good to me.”
Now, if we can only get RZA, Raekwon, Meth, and Ghost to finish up their verses, nothing will be the same. Check out that the Wu has to say for themselves in the video up top.
