After a few delays and much teasing, Mariah Carey finally releases her new ballad “The Art Of Letting Go.” MiMi released the Rodney Jerkins-produced ballad on her personal Facebook page.
Attached to the new record was a message to her fans, stating:
“I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that’s holding them back or bringing them down.Thank you for sharing this experience with me!”
“I’m making a statement, of my own opinion/just a brief little reminder to help myself remember,” sings Mariah.
Mariah’s new release will be featured on her forthcoming album, The Art Of Letting Go, which was originally scheduled to drop this summer, but will be released in early 2014.
