By now, you’ve heard all about the antics Trinidad Jame$ pulled when he stepped on the stage to perform in New York City last night at the Converse Rubber Tracks in Williamsburg, (if you haven’t, check out the video here). But the real star of the night wasn’t what was coming out of Jame$’ mouth, it was what was on his feet, as he entertained the crowd out to celebrate the CONS sneaker collection’s much-anticipated re-launch.

The CONS collection line of lifestyle-inspired sneakers mixes authentic retros with new, ’90s-inspired kicks, and the main player in the lineup is without a doubt the CONS Aero Jam, also affectionately known as the Grandmamas in association with the 1994 Charlotte Hornets power forward Larry Johnson.

The night kicked off with an intimate dinner with Converse and friends catered by celebrity chef Eddie Huang, who provided the crate-perched dinner attendees with a 3-course-meal featuring a number of his specialties, before the tables were hauled away and the space was open to a larger crowd that included the likes of Harry Fraud, Phony Ppl, Dee and Ricky, rapper Adrian Lau and more. Converse CONS Ambassador RATKING and DJ Wonder provided the sounds for the event, before rapper Trinidad Jame$ took the stage and made some remarks to rattle the masses.

Guests were delivered the ultimate CONS experience, as Converse introduced the new CONS Holiday sneaker collection, and brought to life the restless, streetwise energy of the CONS creative spirit.

The Converse CONS Holiday collection features the Aerojam, Anarchy and Star Player Plus, and celebrates modern street culture in a sport-inspired world, combining a throwback influence that’s been remixed for a fresh take on modern sneakers. The Converse CONS Holiday Collection will be available on Thursday, November 14, exclusively at Foot Locker, Footaction, and Champs stores in North America and online at Footlocker.com, Footaction.com, and Champsstores.com for a suggested retail price range of $70-$110USD.
