All the buzz in the sneaker world this week has been surrounded around Kanye West’s proverbial middle finger to Nike and his departure to adidas. But Nike didn’t bat an eyelash to Kanye’s onstage rants because they already had something else up their sleeve: Drake, who apparently has the answers.

Last night, Drizzy took the stage in Portland, Oregon (Nike’s birthplace) on his Would You Like a Tour? show and announced a new venture: a partnership with Jordan Brand. In the middle of the show, Drake stopped to address the audience, saying:

“Today also happens to be one of the best days of my life,” he told the crowd. “So today, I came to Portland and officially became inducted into the Team Jordan family.”

Jordan Brand’s Twitter later confirmed the collaboration with the following tweet:

Demonstrating the power of social media, just moments after the announcement, Drake’s Instagram was updated with photos of his first offerings with the brand, the Jordan 10 and 12 OVO Stingrays and the Jordan 5s.

Take a look at Drake’s OVO designs with the brand below.

No word on when Drake’s collection with the brand will be dropping, but will you be copping when it does?
