Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hit the road weeks ago when ‘Ye kicked off his Yeezus Tour. They’ve since been spotted in various cities throughout the United States doing press together and attending events – even North West gets to come along for the ride.
Kim and ‘Ye were most recently spotted stepping out together in Florida. Kimmy K sported a sexy white cutout ensemble while supporting her man at a DuJour Magazine event in Miami during Art Basel. The future Mr. and Mrs. West strolled arm-in-arm to celebrate artist Marc Quinn, according to Just Jared.
Earlier that night, Kanye made an appearance at Surface Magazine’s DesignDialogues No. 6 event in Miami, where he joined a panel of fellow art-enthusiasts. ‘Ye and the other panelists partook in a lengthy conversation which touched on a wide range of topics. Meanwhile, Kim was at their New York City apartment tending to North. The mommy-daughter duo was seen strolling around the city together – naturally, Kardashian was dressed to the nines.
Kim sported a fierce all-black-everything look and matched Nori’s baby blanket to her fashion forward get up.
Though they were busy with their parental duties and speaking engagements, Kim and Kanye were still making headlines. Reports surfaced yesterday that the KimYe wedding would be taking place at the opulent Palace of Versailles in France. While that seems totally like them, Kim’s rep spoke to E! News:
“They haven’t decided on a location yet,” the reality TV starlet’s rep confirmed adding that they had yet to even decide on a wedding planner.
Their wedding plans aren’t the only thing causing a buzz. An artist claiming to be related to the late great Andy Warhol claims Kanye hired her to paint Kim. Again, while this totally ludicrous statement seems likely, Kimmy K says she has no idea who the woman is.
Monica Warhol, a Tucson, Arizona artist who has a similar style to Andy Warhol’s, told TMZ that ‘Ye’s people reached out to her a few weeks ago. She says she was sent a photo of Kim and asked to create a screen painting of the picture.
Monica claims she worked long and hard on nine portraits of Kim and these things don’t come cheap. Her paintings sell for $20,000 – $70,000 each and she wants KimYe to pay up!
Sources close to Kim think the whole thing is a scam. Monica, however, claims Kim and ‘Ye are denying her because the gift was meant to be a surprise and someone let the cat out of the bag.
Warhol says she’ll auction the artwork off if it’s not claimed soon. Interested?
