Vin Diesel is still mourning the loss of his friend and co-star Paul Walker.

Yesterday, the Fast & Furious actor updated his fans with the latest news on the Fast franchise, while at the same time reminiscing about his lost friend, who died this winter in a tragic car crash.

He wrote on Facebook:

“We always took pride in trying to make each one better than the last…

P.s. Tomorrow we meet with the studio, regarding the future of the Fast saga… and the completion of Seven.”

There was a lot of speculation about whether or not producers would keep Paul Walker’s appearance in the final Fast & Furious film, but it looks like they are going ahead as planned:

“Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2015,” the studio said in a statement. “James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.”

However, Paul Walker’s other projects are still unclear. In fact, Paul has been replaced by Anchorman 2 actor James Marsden in at least one film.

Paul Walker was in talks to bring the book Best Of Me to the big screen and now Marsden is taking the late actor’s place. Us Weekly reports he is in early talks with film studio Relativity and director Michael Hoffman to take over the male lead in the drama. Source Code actress Michelle Monaghan has already been cast as the female lead.

May Paul Walker continue to rest in peace.
