We’ve already chatted about all the fashion that walked down the red carpet at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, analyzed dress and shoe pairings and all of that, but the real truth is that outside of the “what are you wearing” of the red carpet, there were a lot more notable fashion moments of the night.
Watching the award show is only a quarter of the fun, most of the enjoyment comes from the gems of the Internet that are typically live tweeted during the show, and last night’s Golden Globes was no exception.
From Jared Leto’s man-bun to Jennifer Lawrence’s unlikely choice of Dior, check out 5 of last night’s most talked about fashion moments of the Golden Globes as told by Twitter.
Jared Leto’s Bun:
Jared Leto’s hair was the mane attraction once again, as the 30 Minutes To Mars frontman slicked it back in a messy bun to compliment his dapper tux for the night. The ladies took note.
I’m really glad Jared Leto made the pony-bun cool again. Mondays just got a lot easier

JLaw’s Lawless Dior:
Jennifer Lawrence has really been pushing Dior since being named the face of the brand, but this look was not a fan favorite. While she is typically the most loved person on the Internet, last night was no holds barred as social media swiftly reacted to her Dior gown.

Paula Patton’s Stephane Rolland Misstep:
Paula Patton is typically about her fashion when she steps on the red carpet, but last night’s arrival in Stephane Rolland was a sight to see, and quickly became the “big white vagina” of the night. Yikes.

The Baby Bumps:
Baby fever was rampant on the red carpet, as some of our favorite actresses showed up with their growing bellies as star accessories. Kerry Washington, Olivia Wilde and Drew Barrymore all looked refreshingly adorable, and of course, they were glowing.
LOVE these bellies! Olivia Wilde is my fave but they’re all glowing! http://t.co/3cKbg2SIpo pic.twitter.com/H3KKjnpxMT” — Amelia (@ameliagermain) January 13, 2014
Emma Thompson’s IDGAF Moment:
Emma came out to present, barefoot, martini in hand and shoes in the other, and instantly became our best friend in our head. But she finally won us over when she once and for all tossed the shoes and read the winner like a boss. Listen, being glamorous for these award shows is no easy feat.
