Chanel Iman could step out of the house wearing a garbage bag and we’re almost certain she’d still be stunning. But there’s nothing haute about Hefty, so for the 2014 DVF Awards in New York City, the model opted for a Diane von Furstenberg frock instead.
Before hitting up Pharrell’s birthday party over the weekend, Chanel attended the awards, during which Alicia Keys was presented with the Inspiration Award and feminist activist Gloria Steinem received the Lifetime Leadership Award.
And winning our award for best dressed is Chanel, who was on the scene in a DVF Spring 2014 Barcelona dress. She styled it with chained sandals and red-hot lips. A$AP Rocky is one lucky guy.
Chanel wasn’t the only one to show up and show out, though. Alicia had the blues in a DVF Fall 2014 jumpsuit that was paired with black lace Louboutins. The coral lip gave the perfect pop of color to her otherwise monochromatic look.
Estelle showed off her henna tattoos in a DVF Pre-Fall 2014 collection maxi dress that was printed perfection.
Sarah Jessica Parker was a golden goddess on the red carpet, sparkling in a metallic wrap dress, also from DVF.
And of course, the designer herself was there in a puzzling piece from her Pre-Fall 2014 collection.
