Take a straw and suck this up.

Less than 24 hours after she released her Rich Homie Quan-assisted single “Thirsty,” Mariah Carey follows up with a solo version of the song.

Don’t know if Mariah got wind of the polarizing views of her collaborating with XXL Freshman Rich Homie Quan, but like most divas, one version of anything is never enough. The Hit-Boy produced single still features Rich Homie Quan rap/singing on the hook, but doesn’t feature the verse he originally laid.

Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse is due out May 27. Take a listen to the scaled back version of “Thirsty” below.
