When it was announced that a N.W.A. movie was in the works, there was much speculation about who could actually play the group’s iconic members.
Earlier this year, Ice Cube said that he wanted his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., to be part of the Straight Outta Compton project, and so he is – the resemblance is hard to miss. The F. Gary Gray-directed film also found its Dr. Dre and Eazy-E in newcomers Marcus Callender and Jason Mitchell.
Ice Cube shared the first picture of the cast on his Instagram, saying:
Finally found the NWA cast. Me, Gary Gray & Dre w/ Cube, Eazy & Dre. #StraightOuttaCompton coming 8/14/15
