This year’s Comic-Con is well underway, and DC Entertainment‘s booth at the convention revealed the image above of Ben Affleck as Batman. The film is due for release in May 2016.

Also over at Comic-Con, there are a few disappointed fans, as the comic legend Stan Lee canceled all of his appearances scheduled for the weekend because of a lost voice. From The Hollywood Reporter, his spokesperson stated:

“Unfortunately, Stan Lee has lost his voice due to laryngitis and is unable to attend this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and has regrettably had to cancel his appearances,” said his spokesperson, confirming the news. “Stan is otherwise well and in good health, though he is disappointed to miss the event and wishes everyone a great time.”

Kerry Washington is back to handling business on Scandaland show creator Shonda Rimes shared a photo from the new mom’s first table read of the new season.

The hilarious trailer for the upcoming Hot Tub Time Machine sequel has hit the web, and the film is set to hit theaters on Christmas.

Spongebob is out of Bikini Bottom. Spongebob Squarepants himself, aka Tom Kenny, shared the first look at the movie SpongeBob: Sponge Out of Water. The image shows Patrick Star as Mr. Superawesomeness, SpongeBob SquarePants as The Invincibubble, Squidward Tentacles as Sour Note, and Mr. Krabs as Sir Pinch-A-Lot. The Nickelodeon film comes to theaters in February 2015.

The new season of Preachers of LA premieres on Oxygen on August 20, and in this clip from the show, Bishop Ron Gibson gets into some drama while attending a peace rally.
