French Montana is on top of the world at this point in his career.

The “Pop That” rapper is not only about to drop his next Mac & Cheese project, he’s also dating one of Hollywood’s finest, Khloe Kardashian.

After dealing with a very public divorce, Khloe has been letting loose and having a blast with French as they travel the world and do joint interviews, club appearances, and music videos together.

Most recently, the reality tv star’s boy toy sat down for an interview with Billboard, where he talked about the benefits of dating a Kardashian, his music making process, and participating in Ramadan.

He said of the boost in fame he’s experienced after being linked to Khloe:

“I want to capitalize on it,” says Montana. “I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.”

He also talked about Ramadan and the significance it plays in his life and on his music:

“Ramadan slows me down. It’s such a beautiful month. Whatever you can’t stop, you [abstain from] during Ramadan,” says Montana. Reverence for his faith and culture is visible throughout his home: Arabic prayers adorn the living room, and “Allah” is inscribed on two medallions that hang loosely around his neck.

“This is when we lock in. This is when it starts, today,”

I listen to a lot of outside input,” says Montana. “I can’t make music for myself. I make music for the people.”

Khloe has had to deal with so much criticism surrounding her divorce and family, so it’s no surprise that French thinks she’s great at giving advice about haters:

“She told me, ‘They will spread negative energy if they can. Don’t let it get to you.'”

As far as his overall life and career, French happily told Billboard:

“I’m in a beautiful headspace,” he offers, still smiling.

Mac & Cheese is due out later this year, and there might just be some surprises on it!
