The first and official trailer for Selma has been released, and it seems like we’re in for a treat. The flick, which stars David Oyelowo in the role of Martin Luther King Jr., chronicles the civil rights leader’s march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama as he fought fervently for African-Americans to have equal voting rights in 1965.

Director Ava DuVernay apparently did not have to dig too deep in order to understand the complexities of Dr. King. She told Yahoo Movies:

“[My father’s] family farm is right on the stretch of lonely backcountry roads that the marchers walked from Selma to Montgomery. I didn’t have to start with learning about the place, because that’s where my dad is from and where we spent many summers and Father’s Days and Christmases. I could just go straight to the story.”

Selma, which is sure to be box office gold, also stars the regal Oprah Winfrey, hilarious Cuba Gooding JrTessa Thompson, Commonand more. Watch above.

For the Star Wars fans out there, today is the day you have all been waiting for. The upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII officially has a name: Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The film, directed by J.J Abrams, will also star Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, and more. It will hit theatres on Dec. 18, 2015.

Disney/Pixar has announced that we will be blessed with Toy Story 4 in June of 2017. The hit movie, whose previous versions grossed billions of dollars at the global box office, was put on the shelf for a while, but the company has decided to bring back the beloved characters from our childhoods.

John Lasseter, who wrote and directed Toy Story 1 and 2, is coming back as director and cannot be more thrilled. According to Mashable

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” Lasseter said in a statement released after the call. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie — and I wanted to direct it myself.”

The celebrity mommy club just added yet another fabulous new member. According to Us Weekly, actress Rachel Bilson has welcomed a bouncing baby girl with boyfriend Hayden Christensen.

The new addition is named Briar Rose, an homage to the classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty. The name was given by the three fairies in an attempt to hide the princess from the evil Maleficent.

Congrats to the new parents.
