So…we now know what happened to Tha Carter V.
Lil Wayne’s eleventh studio album was supposed to be released next week. It’s become clear that won’t happen (we haven’t even seen a tracklist yet).
And it looks like the album won’t be out for a while, because there’s drama in the house Baby built.
Just moments ago, Lil Wayne sent out a series of tweets blasting Baby and Cash Money. The rapper basically said they were the reason we don’t have a Wayne record in stores right now.
He also shockingly said he wants off the label.

That was unexpected.
It will be interesting to see if Wayne stands by these tweets, or if he takes the “I got hacked” route.
We haven’t heard anything from fellow Cash Money artists, but old nemesis Pusha T inserted himself in with an offer to the rapper:
Throwing salt in the wound, Pusha also tweeted out the lyrics to his Lil Wayne sneak diss “Exodus 23:1.”
