New York City’s iconic S.O.B.’s venue was packed with energetic fans and some of the hottest high-profile rappers like Kanye West and Fabolous for Teyana Taylor’s first headlining show last night.
Although Kanye didn’t perform, Fabolous graced the stage with Teyana for “Broken Hearted Girl” from the Harlemite’s debut album VII.
Shortly after performing “Broken Hearted Girl,” the “Maybe” singer shed tears as she gave her NBA boyfriend Iman Shumpert a shout-out:
“He said, ‘I’m so mad I couldn’t be there to see you headline your first show but when I do the stage will be much bigger,'” said Taylor. “He wakes me up every morning, morning breath and all, and he just tells me how lucky he is and he doesn’t know how lucky I am.”
