Meet OG Maco’s conscious side.
The Atlanta newcomer, most popular for his turned up banger “U Guessed It,” releases a new three-track EP titled Breathe.
In the wake of the current state of race relations, police brutality, and classism in America, OG Maco explores the concept of freedom for the black community.
On the Chuck Inglish-produced cut “Get Down,” OG Maco raps:
“For there is a promise land not yet seen except in dreams
And for that we fiend
And bleed
And live
And sin
With the hope we might know freedom through more than our white friends”
We’re excited to get to know this OG Maco, and you should be too. Take a listen to Breathe below.
