In just four days, Kevin Hart returns to theaters with The Wedding Ringer co-starring Josh Gad from Frozen fame.
The movie is about a loner who hires a professional friend to be the best man at his wedding. I had the opportunity to sit down with the stars for one of the funniest interviews ever, and during our chat, I asked Kevin about his January box office success.
“I think to have a time of year to mark as your own is huge in this business. I remember there was a time when Will Smith had July 4th, every year he was putting out a movie. So right now I’m trying to do the same thing with this January time. Martin Luther King weekend, every year a different film. Next year Ride Along 2, so hopefully this will be Kevin Hart’s weekend.”
The chemistry between the comedic duo provides for some hilarious moments on and off-screen, the best being when the pair broke out in a full-on rap battle at the end of the interview.
